Hi,
I need to get number of items received into a specified inbox yesterday (it will always be for the previous day) in outlook 2002, into excel. ie: if i received 20 emails into specified inbox it needs to return the number 20 so that i can use that in my sheet for further calculations. I was hoping to record a macro in outlook, that would capture the advanced filter settings (which already has an option for 'yesterday') but there is no record option, so I have no idea where to start, can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks

Ok Gurus, I am still hoping to get help with this. Maybe I worded the question badly......
In outlook 2002, tools\advanced find\advanced tab\field button\date time fields\received condition = yesterday. Click on add to list then find now.
This will search for all emails received yesterday, and at the bottom left of the find window gives you a count of items found.
I need to do this in code and pull back the count number for use in excel.
Please Help :)
