Hi Everyone!

I've generated a report where I get the monthly product usage for a particular product number (NSN below). I need to perform two calculations on the info. A subtotal for each product number and then a TOTAL for all the product usage in that booth. I hope that makes sense.
Here's the report:

Booth ID: 32023
Month: January 2003
PType NSN PName VOCcont PDensity MonthlyUsage

Thinner 8010 CARCTan 25 10.1 0.75
Coating 8010 Acrastrip 100 5.18 89
Subtotal 89.75

Thinner 6850 CARCTan 25 10.1 3
Coating 6850 Acrastrip 100 5.18 2
Subtotal 5

TOTAL = 94.75

at the end of the page or page footer I want to the sum of all the subtotals for that particular booth. I calculated the subtotal by entering this formula in the control box of the text box =sum([prousage]). I tried entering the formula =sum([prousage])in the control box of the TOTAL text box. I get an #ERROR. The subtotal information is in the product NSN footer. Can this be done?

The report details are:

Page Header
BoothTextID Header
Detail
ProductNSN Footer
Page Footer

I hope this explains my dilema.
Thanks for the help in advance!!!

Maribel

If you want subtotals for each Booth then you need to add a BoothTextID Footer and do the calculations there. Getting page calculations is a bit difficult and really doesn't work well with Groups.

Hi Paul,

Thanks, I knew I had something in the wrong place. I got exactly what I wanted by just adding the BoothTextID footer.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! If you were in Denver I'd be taking you out to lunch.

Have a great weekend!

Maribel :)

Darn, already had lunch but the red-eye might have me there for breakfast tomorrow.
Glad it worked.

Paul,

Thanks for your help again. I may need you again next week....then for sure I will have to fly you in. Where am I flying you in from?

Have a great weekend!

Maribel :)
