Hi guys,

Do you remember when it was introduced the feature that you can type the name of the form and the system takes you straight to that form?

I am trying to find out where I read this. I am pretty sure I read it on one of the self study courses, release notes or "what's new on this release".

Regards,

Pretty sure it was MCD 5, Slight possabillity it was in 4.2 but no earlier.

At least as far back as 4.1

Maybe 4.0

Definitely not at 9.0

BTW it also works with key programming when assigning the type

Previously I would press the first letter and each time I pressed it would increment to the next instance.

This was fine when Multicall was the first that would appear. Now it is the 5th or thereabouts

But now you can type mul and bobs your uncle. (I've confirmed this function back to rel 9.0 at least.)

This may be obvious to some of you newbies but I've been doing this since rel 2 (circa 2002)

That last comment was unclear - What I meant to say was I learned how to do it so long ago that I hadn't thought to try differently. It comes across as a little pretentious. But then again, so does using a word like pretentious. I better stop while I'm behind
