Given that Gentran NT is not "officially" supported on Windows 2003 Server...
Anyone else attempting to test this mad union? We are in the process and all seems to be working with the exception of the 'Exec_Program' function from Process Control.
We have a .exe that adds a simple date-time stamp to the end of the application flat file. We are calling it from a process control event using the 'Exec_Program' line. The event runs, throws no error (in Gentran's Audit Log) and finishes. Problem is...date-time stamp never happens.
If I execute the same exact command from a DOS prompt, it works.
We checked the security of the login that starts the Gentran services and it's fine. We were even able to run an export and file rename from inside that same process control event and both run fine.
Any ideas or existing workarounds?
...obviously we'd rather not have to wipe out 2003 Server and install 2000 or XPP.
