Gentran Integrator Suite (GIS) Map Conversion

Hi,
Our company is in the process of changing from Gentran 5.3 UNIX to GIS. The big bottleneck is converting Gentran 5.3 (UNIX) maps to GIS format. Is anyone aware of a conversion utility that can handle this? If not are there after market books, documentation, etc that covers GIS mapping in greater detail than Gentran’s documentation?
