GENTRAN/400 Input File Problem

I am having a problem with an inbound 850 - my external files are not being written to. I keep getting the error message "685 Unable to open the EDI input file." I am receiving the documents, as I can see them in the audit file. But the data does not get written to my files.

I have 7 external files, which are attached to the application definition. I do have the Write Flag = "Y" on each record as well.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I found the cause of the problem (duh!). I was using the wrong split file. Guess I'm a little rustier than I thought with GENTRAN.
