Hello all,

A maintenance company is offering to support the HP printers we have, with us taking on no additional costs. They will pay for the toner and fix the printers if they break down. The cost of this service is essentially what we pay now for toner.

The difference is that they will use non-HP toner for the black and white machines. They will keep using HP toner for the color printers.

I'm hesitant to move to a toner that isn't HP but we could use the maintenance support sometimes. We have old black and white printers right now so there isn't an immediate warranty issue.

Does anyone have any advice or experience?

Thank you!

Most remand companies have solved their leakage problems, and most are good to use. Beware very cheap deals though, too many corners cut. Your new company will probably use a better product, to save you repair time. Is cleaning in the maint. aggreement?

I don't know but will check into that. He says he can provide maintenance and toner for what we pay for toner now. Does that seem too cheap? I guess they can save money with the toner.

Thanks for your thoughts.
