We have a 3 digit dialplan (soon to be four). A new extension range unused prior to Tuesday, ext 170 - 179, when covering to MM gets the generic AA 'Welcome to Avaya Modular Messaging, please enter the mailbox of the person.....'. All other extensions when covering get the personal greeting of that extension's mailbox.

We have a MAS & MSS on 2.01. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jim

If it is an Avaya switch with T-1, E-1 or H.323 integration to the MM system, then the switch probably doesn't have the Private Numbering form setup to send those digits to the MM system.

That fixed it. I knew there was something I was missing. Only the second time I've touched private numbering.

Thanks,

Jim
