Hi,

Is there a way to generate a pdf from a sheet without the use of third-party software or going through the print process?

Thanx for your suggestions!

I think the straight answer would be no, but ...........

I assume when you refer to a sheet you are using Excel. I have Adobe Acrobat Professional (Ver. 6) that has an integrated PDF Maker that can be used across many of the MS Office applications. In Excel I have an additional toolbar that can convert any sheet very quickly and easily into a pdf document. The PDF Maker can also convert multiple files (in batch) into pdf format without any hassle. It doesn't get much easier than this.

Hope this answers your question.

Hi IndigoDragon,

The short answer is: no.

The longer answer is: not with Microsoft Office software, for which a program like Adobe Acrobat Distiller (not the free reader), JAWS PDF Creator, MULP21PDF, GhostScript, PDF995, RoboPDF, FreePDF, Serif PagePlus, Win2PDF or Go2PDF is needed. However, it is possible with the equivalent software produced by some other manufacturers.

Cheers
