Hi, this is probably a fundamental question, but I hope that you can help me.

We are creating a sales report and I would like to send only the relevant details to each sales unit.

With one pass through the data (which is in unit sequence), what is the best way to create and email individual reports (I have the addresses), to the many units. It would be a very tiresome task to run the report for each unit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Please do not crosspost. Turkbear made a solid recommendation in your other post. Please try that.

I didn't see the other item so I'll put my answer in here.

Depends on what you are trying to do. Our report schedulers have a "Multirun" feature that let you rerun a report item with a different parameter value and send to a different destination. But that approach does a pass of the data for each report parameter.

The second approach uses our Grid output library and lets you use a series of formulas to create files for each group in the report. One pass of the database, and each group or detail can create a different export file as CSV, XML or TAB delimited data files.
