I run a report in access with check boxes and other objects. When I Publish in Word, it actually creates an .RTF file, not a .DOC file. The document in Word includes most output, but does not print my check boxes. I want to be able to produce reports out of access that can be viewed without printing. Any ideas?

Hi

Viewed without printing?, why not use Preview option?

Alternatively why not create a snapshot file?

If neither of above are what you want and you really must have a word file then see for a method to do this

I found a neat little program that converts the report to a .pdf called pdf995.

You can get it at
I use the program to create the pdf and then attach to an email to send out.

hope this helps

That lebans "ReportUtility" is really interesting. It works 99% of the perfectly in recreating a report as an rtf just like adobe distiller creates a pdf. Except lebans is free....

Took me a little while to figure out how to get it to work in my report menu's, but now that I have this deserves a star
