I'm trying to generate a PDF file from a page using VBScript or VB.NET Script.

It is for a shopping cart project Im working on, when you get to the invoice page - a PDF file been generated from the data on screen.

I've went down the FDF path, that works fine - but it will not create a final PDF page, which is the result I want to get.

I have Acrobat 5.0 on one machine, and have access to a machine with Acrobat 6.0 - I've heard using Distiller may help also?

Has anyone got any ideas or links? it would be really great - as I am totally lost .

I found a nice wee dll called Sharp PDF and it does the job perfectly, its superb. If anyone has the same problem as me, and wants to generate PDFs in the Microsoft environment and not spend lots of money, then they should look at this.

gi11ies,
Would you, please, post URL to Sharp PDF.
I'm planning on doing 2 more PDF-enabled web sites and I'd like to see if this component would be better than the one I'm using now.
Thanks

Thank you gi11ies!

I had this link in my bookmarks.
For some reason I missed that you were looking not only for asp solution but also for .NET one.

For me this library will not work because it doesn't support image transparency/masking, doesn't allow importing existing PDFs for inserting dynamic data and, since this is not a commercial component, my webhosting company will not agree to install it.
