I presume you want some help with generating a matrix, yes? If so, what kind of matrix are we talking about ... 2D, 3D? And what dimensions? Or do you want code which can create a matrix of any size?

I would like to be able to change the colors of the matrix and have it as a movie clip to run in the background. Just random characters and I would like to be able to change the speed.

However that's not quite what I had in mind. I'm looking for something like that matrix screensaver where the characters fall vertcially and they're more thatn just 0's and 1's.

Any other suggestions?

You mean a "The Matrix" effect, not a matrix. I though you were after 3D matrix code ... something you would have to be a physicist to understand!!

So all you want is letters streaming down the screen starting from random positions?
