Hello,

I have created my table, form and report, and now I want to print my report. What is happening though is that each line in my table contains data for a specific work order number and when I print my report, it's printing every Work Order. What I want to do though is only print the work order number as requested by the user.

How do I set up a pop-up box so that when the user clicks the print button it will then ask the user to select a work order number?

Some information you might need the table name is “Work Order”, the name of the form is “Shop Work Order” the name of the report is “Work Order1” as you can see I am a novice I would appreciate any help I could get.

Thanks for your time in advance

Where is this Print button you're talking about? Is it a command button on the Shop Work Order form? If so, and you want to print just the work order shown on the form, then all you have to do is modify your OpenReport to include the "where condition" part. The where condition should be a string something like "[Work Order Number] = Forms![Shop Work Order]![control name]" where "control name" is the name of your text box (or whatever) on the form that contains the work order number they're looking at.
