I was wondering what some you guys were using to pull and audit security logs?
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
log file inserted into database every day and then we run reports - using a combination of sql and crystal reprots to give us a summary of what the hell is going on and if we need to dig any further.

I am currently evaluating GFI event veiwer amoungst other components and so far I am quiet happy with the ease of use but bit concered about the reporting side of things and how easy it is to create new ones but I will speak to support about this soon.

What platforms are you looking to pull logs from? There are lots of tools out there for various specific log sources. I've been looking at Addamark ( since they claim to support any platform.
