If I use my contivity vpn client to a bsr222, I can see the routing table of my pc getting updated.

If I use a hardware vpn from a linksys to the bsr it works, but the routing table of the linksys does not get updated. Linksys confirmed that it is normal while I was troubleshooting something else...

In both cases the bsr does not update its routing table either.. Is it common for hardware vpn not to use the routing table?

I have many site to site VPNs using Linksys and Netopia routers, the (viewable) routing tables do not change.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

yeah, I guess it could be in a 'hidden' part of the routing table... or maybe it has to do with the vpn tagging at all, the actual ESp tag that goes in the ip header...
