This just started 2 days ago.....When I'm finish with Windows Explorer and close it out , the following message box appears on my desktop..... This program will be closed.....Explorer caused a general protection fault in module USER.EXE at 000b:00001f53 .....after I close it, a couple of desktop visual enhancements are closed (transparant icon text backrounds).
I don't know if this is related, but when I'm on the web, I get thrown off with the message..... This program will be closed.....IExplore caused an invalid page fault in module wsock32.dll at 0177:10005c9f, sometimes followed with a similar message...... KERNAL32.dll at 0177:bff87eb5.
Please Help
Thanks

wsock32.dll and kernel32.dll are very important files. i would try running the ie repair tool from the add/remove programs control panel and maybe extract a new wsock32.dll file using the file extracter tool under system information in the system tools menu.
