We're thinking about setting up a Voip system in our office, and CME keeps cropping up while doing research. I admittedly don't know much of anything about it, so I wanted to get other people's opinions on it... what you like, what you dislike, user friendliness, etc, etc.
Thanks!

Tell us more about your requirements, number of phones, etc. CME might be a good fit, it might not. To be honest, and I'll get flamed for this on a Cisco forum, but if you're considering CME then I'd definitely take a look at ShoreTel, as well.

We'll have approximately 35 phones, all the usual stuff like voicemail, caller id, etc. All our phones now are sharing 10 lines... I'd like each phone to have it's own dedicated number so customers can call the right person directly, instead of getting bounced around for any length of time. I'll take a look at ShoreTel, thanks.

CME would work for you, certainly, but I'm glad you're going to look at other solutions. Shoretel makes a great SMB solution and the administration is a breeze.
