Hi,

I'm currently attempting to attain MCDBA status and have been on the MS Courses and have the self study kits.

The testing process is fairly simple, however my question concers the "Select All Applicable" questions.

When i hae taken any exam in the past, i've worked on the basis that you don't loose marks, you gain them, so by getting part of a question correct, some marks would be awarded.

Is this the case with MCP exams, in that if the correct answer is A, B and D by selecting A and B would a % of the overall mark be awarded or would the entire question be failed?

Similarly, if the correct answer is A, B and D and A, B and C are selected, would the marks for the 2 correct options still be awarded?

Thanks in advance.

LeighMoore,

My understanding is that for each question, the answer is all or nothing in regard to earning points.

If anyone has any conflicting information, I'd love to hear it. I'm re-taking 70-290 tomorrow.

Thanks for the help guys, i suppose the moral of the story is "if you know your stuff, you'll get them all right anyway!"
