Hello

I have a customer that has a TVA-50 on a TA-824.
They have an extension that they would like to receive the message waiting lamp for their general mailbox 998.
I went through the install, programming, subscribers and feature manual but it isn't really spelled out clearly.
It states the message manager is the one who logs into the general deliver mailbox etc but I can not find where to assigne the message manager to an extension, if it's even possible.
The customer claims it had been working at some point but now it does not light the lamp.
They can login from any phone to mailbox 998 and retreive the messages but they would like to see a lamp.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

If it was working check in the mailbox settings to see if notification is enables still and some one did not turn off.

check mailbox 998, the owner should be the one that gets the notifications

Hi obt

Thank you. Do you know where I can assign mailbox 998 to a particular extension?
I can not seem to find where to check this or assign it.

Thank you

I think it is in system parameters. I would have to look

How are you programming it. Terminal or programming tool
