General Mailbox does not record VM

Hi,

Have a 3300 ICP.

On Night Service the AA answers and directs calls to the GM. The GM greeting plays and then goes back to the AA, never allowing the caller to place a call.

Internally, I've dial the GM and am able to leave a message.

I'm more of a Nortel, Avaya, Switchvox, FreePBX tech. Can anyone lend a hand?

What is the AA doing that is different from when you dial directly?

Are you absolutely sure you are hearing the same greeting? (change it and test)

Does the AA use supervised or blind transfer?

I think we finally have it working!

From System Administration I went into
-> Call Handling
-> Call Routing
-> Call Rerouting Always Alternative Assignment

Reprogrammed the Rerouting from No Reroute to Reroute to the VM Hunt Group.

I don't know why it wasn't like that to being with, but at this point I don't really care. I'm hoping when the office is moved at the end of the year that they will also spring for a new phone system that isn't so complicated and locked up for support as this one.
