Hi, Guys (an' gals),
Does anyone know where I can obtain information about all the commands that can be used for tracing IP addresses via the command prompt? I know about ping but I know there are others.

You may use Windows "tracert" command (traceroute in UNIX):

tracert
or

tracert 64.58.76.176

for example. Host name or IP-address should be supplied as parameter.

In response you will get the lines with host's ip-addresses, names and delay times.

Hi, TyrantSSV, thanks for the reply. I was using the unix version on a Win95 PC! No wonder it wouldn't do anything!
