Is there a general interactive tool that can be used to type in DML/DDL SQL statements directly to effect data stored in an Access database? For example, if I want to perform an update on data in an existing table or perform an insert or delete via an SQL statement, how would I go about doing it?

Thanks,
Greg

The only way I know how is to create a new query and then click on the view SQL button. This will let you enter the SQL statement you want to run.

You can create a macro that would triger multiple queries or you can create functions for each task and call them from forms or reports, where required.
