General Help needed on Themes versus free style

I am new to Front page(2000). I have created a quick web site using a theme and wanted to insert a picture(jpeg) to the area on top but when I preview it, it only shows as a little icon without the picture.

Am I hindered on what I can do when using themes or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

hello, try using the Preview Button to view on your browser. Sometimes the preview in FP2K is flaky. If that dont work , are you saving the page before previewing and is is a Active-X type plug-in your setting up? I tried what you did and my picture viewed.

Yes I have saved it and I have been using the preview all along. The picture element is there but wont display. Just the little icon representation of where I added the picture.
