i have a master table in ms-access which has date/time field & the format is General Date.
I have imported few data from an excel sheet to a new table which also has date field.
Inserted the data to master table successfully.
Now when I query to see the data for a dates which i have inserted the data from master table, its not throwing up.
Seems there is an issue with date format.
How i convert the date field to general date format ?

TIA

its not showing up" or "its not throwing up"?

The date formats being displayed are controlled by your Regional and Language Options in control panel.

DateTime fields in an Access database are stored as doubles with the date (actually the number of days since Dec 30, 1899) before the decimal place and the time of day after it. There is no specific format stored with the date.

Check the definition of the field in your Access table to ensure that it is, in fact, a DateTime field. Some imports from Excel can import fields as text if the importing program (usually TransferSpreadsheet) finds something in the column that is not a valid date.
