I am compiling and small bit of code and I would like to write to a text file not without using the save dialog but using the old fprintf statement only I have more than one variable to write to the file.

I would like to seperate the the writing of variables into the file without writing on a new line each time. I am a little hazy on the coding syntax used
eg "\n"

for the life of me I can not remember the other switches like the carrage return one...........any help would be appreciated

memory loss

\r = Carriage return (beg. of same line)
\n = New line (down one line)
\b = Bell char
\t = Tab char
\f = New form, new page, clear page

just off the top of my head.....
