I have just upgraded my network (Cardiff)150 users with 2003server (mixed mode) from NT. I also have another office 1 mile away (Swansea)10 users. Previously the Swansea office used to access the Cardiff office via VPN (firewall) and using local lmhost files to allow access to my Cardiff domain using a different IP range. After upgrading to 2003 this no longer works? Without splashing out on new kit what would be the best and quickest way to allow Swansea access to the Cardiff branch. Any advice would be a help!I have 2003 server books by the plenty, but i dont really no were to start?

RRAS and or DNS is the place to start.

ensure that the VPN is correctly set up and that the DNS settings are correct, You will be using DNS as well as WINS.
Make sure that the WINNS tab in DNS has the correct IP address of the WINNS server.

Is there a DNS server on the Remote site?
If not there could be a problem as the clients cant resolve any names..

If this is no help it should point you in the right direction...
