GeForce3 Ti200 vs. GeForce4 MX440

Hi all,

Would I notice much of a difference between these two cards on a 1200/266 MHz Athlon system? The GF3 is about $30 more to purchase where I am.

A GF3 Ti 200 on the same platform as a GF4 MX440 is 40% quicker!!!!!
GF4 MX440 around 5000 points
GF3 Ti200 around 7000 points
This is just from memory, so it isn't exact, but I am pretty sure of the differance.
You are comparing almost entry level GF4 to
Almost Top GF3.
And the MX GF4 has many features missing because it is a cut down chip. Martin Just trying to help, sometimes falling short, I am only human after all.

I know that the GF3 will outperform the GF4 MX, and I've looked at Mad Onion.

What I am really asking, is that with my CPU (1200 Athlon), will there be much of a difference? Most of the comparisons I've seen are based on faster processors.
