Hello, i attached my Geforce2 mx200 video card to my tv via a SVideo Cable from the video card to a scart adapter. Then the scart directly into the TV set!
Everything works, except that it is all black and white!
Please help!

How old is your TV ?

Is the output in NTSC on a PAL TV (or PAL on NTSC) ?

Older tv's don't support the different standards very well. ---------------

Well, my TV is Grundig and since i am in Europe i suppose it is PAL. However i don't know what type of signal the card sends. But in the options there are a list to choose from (both NTSC and PAL). My geforce chip for TV is Chrontel 7007.

Try connecting your card using a analog cable. Your GeForce should have this connector also. It's the yellow plug.

Make sure you set the settings of the card to PAL.
If you do get an color image now than your tv doesn't support the s-video signal. You say you use a scart adapter, does your tv also have a s-video connector. If yes then plug the s-video cable in this connector. If not then you'll have to stick with the analog cable.

I tried both the s-video and analog connectin and I can't say I really see a big difference in image quality.

Good luck !
