Geforce Fx5200 problem

I bought a geforce fx5200 a month or so ago... It worked perfectly fine.. even running high performance apps like Sim City 4.. meya and others.. but after i installed the latest drivers fron Nvidia's site. Now my comp freezes anytime I try to run any high end app. Ive tried uninstalling new drivers and installing old(ones from CD i got with the 5200) but to no avail.. any Ideas on what could be causing this?

Exzctly how did you "uninstall" the newer drivers? Did you "roll back" the drivers, or actually "add/remove" the drivers?

I actually add/removed the drivers.. and If it helps i use windows ME.

Can you put the old card back in? Then you can make sure (in safe mode/device manager) that all references to the 5200 card are gone. Put the 5200 back in and use the original drivers that worked.
