Hello All,

I installed one PCI Geforce 6200 video card, connected it to an external LCD TV, and works fine with resolution of 1366x766. Able to see full screen and all the icons on the desktop. I then installed a second video card (Geforce 6200) in the same computer to be used with a second LCD TV (both LCD TVs are the same brand, Samsung)
For some reason, the resolution for the 1st video card vanished, unable to reset it back to what it was before, and the icons on the desktop were half hidden.
I have already disabled the on board built-in video card, uninstalled, resinstalled the two PCI Geforce 6200 , no avail.
Operating system is windows xp professional,sp2

Any possible way to resolve this?

Thanks

If all you are trying to accomplish is two video screens, identical or spaned or?? Check the docs/manual as the NVidia chipset will support dual video with one card.

Be sure to install and use the NVidia control panel and you can set the mode, individual resolutions and many other things.

Hope this helps

Hi rvnguy/community,

Guess what? It all came down to one simple fix. Cable ! HDMI cable I gathered is very sensitive and sometimes will not pick up signals. I changed it and used 15-pin VGA cable connected to the VGA port on the GeForce 6200 card, and it worked fine, able to set it to 1366x768, perfect screen.
