Hi, I purchased a Geforce 4 ti4600 a little while and i have been having problems with it ever since. The main problem I am experiencing, is that whenever I play a game, my computer freezes and nothing moves so I have to manually restart it. This almost always happens 5-10 minutes into the game. I am really not sure what the problem is. I have a AMD athlon 1.1 Ghz processer, and 512MB of ram. I did some research earlier and
thought that it may be becuause i had a 200 Watt power supply. I bought a 400 Watt, but this did not fix the problem. I am really not sure what is wrong and it is becoming very frustrating becuase i cannot play my games.
Do you have any ideas?

It is most likely a driver problem, probably the video card driver, but not necessarly.

I would download the latest drivers from the card manufacturer's website, and try that. If you still have problems, they usually have the preveous version of drivers also available. I would use the mfr drivers before trying the nVidia detonator drivers directly from nVidia.

This may or may not work. You may also have update motherboard drivers or sound card drivers. It is a huge hit-and-miss project until you discover the right combination.

I had similar problems and I needed to update the video drivers and I also replace my SB Live! sound card with a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card. Now everything works well.
