I just bought a V9280/td graphics card and cannot get it to work. If I leave it set to standard VGA compatible it works at all resolutions but after I install the drivers (both Nvidia and Asus' latest drivers) and reboot I have no picture on the display or the monitor shuts off. When I have a display the display properties show vgasave for display adapter. My system is GA-7DX gigabyte motherboard.. AMD Athlon XP 1800+ .. 512 MB RAM .. running Windows XP. I was previously using a Asus V7100 geforce 2 with no problems at all. thanks for any help, Steve
p.s. I tried the card in a different computer and it worked fine and I have even reinstalled the OS and also tried it with Windows 98 and updatec system bios

Might be worth flashing your bios to latest version 7, we have had a few GF4 incompatibility issues, mainly with the MX440's but most have been cured with a bios upgrade.
Latest motherboard drivers might help as well. Martin Replying helps further our knowledge, without comment leaves us wondering.
