Hello all -

This is a silly question, but there is a debate in our office regarding the pronunciation of "GEDI" in the ASA software.

1/2 the office says "JEDI" (as in Star Wars Jedi knight) and the other half says "geddee" (Like Geddy Lee from the band RUSH.)

What is correct? If either..

Thanks

Real Tech's use emulation!

Just Saying
ED

1a2 to ip I seen it all

Real techs can use both.

GEDI is so much more usable when paging up and down lists, ability to scroll, ability to sort lists by name, cor, etc. Recalling previous commands. A lot more efficient in those aspects.

Both definiately have their value.

agree with stinney , that said a previous avaya instructer on a old course i attended, denounced ASA as sacralidge and claimed we would all burn in hell if Putty was not used to admin the system( a bit silly but true!)

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)

LOL that's a riot. The ability to schedule commands, export reports, import/export, ASA is so much better than using just PuTTy/TuTTy.

I think you instructor was a few eggs short of a dozen. I agree with Stinney. ASA has made my job a whole lot easier.
