Is there anyway to set a name for lines/DDI numbers, so it displays on the handset on an incoming call?
DDI's are setup in the the MSN table (4/10) and work fine but I couldn't see where a name would be added.

Thanks :)

Main Menu 4, Sub menu 10, enter bin location and you should be able to press digit 6 or flex key 6 to enter a name for that ddi in the bin location. Probably flex key 6 thinking about it.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

Thanks, I'll have another look tomorrow, though I'm pretty sure flex key 6 was where the actual telephone number was entered (I don't remember seeing anything about names)

Hi

You are right flex 6 is for the ddi.

Im not sure it does now to be honest! I will double check and let you know.

Sorry

As in manual:

• Flex key 1: CO line number (1-6)
• Flex key 2: Day Destination STA #
(2digit or 3digit)/ HUNT #(61-64)/DVU
• Flex key 3: Day Destination MSN No. (1-8)
• Flex key 4: Night Destination STA #
(2digit or 3digit)/ HUNT #(61-64)/DVU
• Flex key 5: Night Destination MSN No. (1-8)
• Flex key 6: Telephone number (max. 20 digits)

No mention of names for the DDi's.

Apologies

Yes, 10-4 is where I've been looking. All the destinations (10-4-2/4) and DDI numbers (10-4-6) are setup and working great.
I just wondered if it was possible to add a name/tag to the numbers to display on incoming calls? I can't see anywhere for this within 10-4.

Sorry doktor, I'm thinking of 4-10. Got mixed up for a minute there - ignore the above post.
I'll have a look at 10-4 when I get the chance, anything in particular I should be looking for or is it pretty self explanatory?

No, you are right. The Main Menu 4, Sub menu 10 is the most important menu in GDK-16.
But as I was teaching our engineers years ago we reversed it - to easier remember it...
So ten - four was "Main Menu 4, Sub menu 10".
