GBIT interface very slow only on outgoing

Good afternoon,

I'm having a very strange problem concerning network speed from AIX to solaris.

In this way, from the solaris box to the aix one, I get 36Mb/s of speed. In the other way I get only 4.1Mb/s.

Between a linux box and the aix one I get 36Mb/s in either way.

Does anyone have an ideia of what it might be?
(perhaps a special configuration)
Any support note?

What do you get from the linux box to the solaris ? if it is 4MBPS it looks like the solaris box is the one with the problem.
Check your network adapter packet size and buffer settings.
