I have question on the GATM8
I have 2 installed on Bus 5 and the problem is that the software is telling me that there are only 4 ports on each card, not 8. The cards have GATM8 printed on the front.
I have set the first card offset 0 and the 2nd card with offset 2 thus:
Card 1
1 on
2 on
3 on
4 on
5 off
6 off

Card 2
1 on
2 off
3 on
4 on
5 off
6 off

I also have DTM's on busses 6 and 7 and DSM32+ on busses 2-4.
Everything else seems to work fine.

It only shows a total of 8 lines in active lines (besides my digital trunks) too, instead of the 16.

Any ideas of what could be causing this? Are my offsets correct?

No the are equipped, but as I said, it sees them as only 4 line Global Modules
Like the first card Says line 121 is the low line/loop and that the high line loop is Line 124
And then module 2 says that th low line/loop is Line 129
and the high line/loop is line 132

So it is skipping 4 lines as if there were an 8 installed (Don't know if this is normal or not...)

But the modules definitely are labeled ion the front as GATM8's

Have you checked to see if you may have a DSM32+ set for single?

Have you looked at the lines under services? are they there??, I belive there is a patch for this.

Under services? You mean under telephony and enableds lines?

If so yes, They are showing up just as they do under the Media Bay Module Configurations.
I am showing lines 61 through 83 for my first PRI; Lines 91 through 113 for my second PRI and lines
121
122
123
124
129
130
131
132
for my two ATM8's

As far as the DSM32 + set for Single, I don't think so as I have them on bus 2, 3 and 4 and all of those show 32 ports when I look at them under resources.
I am assuming that means they are ok...? Is that right?

I will double check the patches but I am pretty sure all have been applied.

I know PDD/FDD is for Station cards, but do you think it could be having a bearing on this problem.
I looked and the switch is set for PDD

FYI

We changed the sretting from PDD to FDD
and one of the cards came back showing all 8 trunks (4 and 4) But the other did not.
I think the other module may be bad.

Just thought I'd share that info on the FDD/PDD
