Hi, I'm new to javascript and I was wondering if there is a way to use the url of a page provided by the user and extract the contents of various dom nodes from that page. I'm totally lost, please help!!

You'd probably need some sort of server-side proxy, as cross-domain scripting is normally hard to achieve.
