Gateway Modem v92 got firewalled and can't be disabled

Hi,
I'm running Windows home ED on a P4 2.4 GHz/512 memory/Nvidia video
Motherboard Lexington Gateway machine
GTW v92 voice modem.

I accidently turn on the window xp firewall and my progrgams won't run anymore : Diablo 2 online using battlenet, and winMX file sharing.

Diablo 2 won't detect the internet connection to login to Battlenet server.

I turn off the firewall but window does't let me get into the modem properties ( all greyed out )
and the modem is still showing 'firewalled'

Does anyone know hoe to fix this problem?
