Gateway FXS status "Rejected" in call manager

We have installed a new 2801 with a fxs card. I copied the config from another 2800 we have. when i go to "see endpoints" in call manager under the gateway, i get Status: Rejected. Any suggestions?

Is it the same model? Example you replaced a 2801 with a 2801...

Is the hostname the same (case sensitive)? How is connectivity to your call manager, can you ping?

Is this being set up as MGCP or H.323? If MGCP then jeter is correct, the Hostname of the router MUST match the Gateway name in CallManager. If it's H.323 the Gateway name is the IP address of the routers closest interface.

well, i got it going now. I didn't replace an existing gateway, i added a new one and mirrored the config. I had to add it to DNS and i had the module number wrong in CM. Thanks.
