Gateway change on server edition

If I change the gateway on a SE R11.0 system will I need to re-host the licenses? I remember if you add a hard drive or change the IP address that you will need to do this but that was the older versions and I am not sure.

It is a server edition so no SD card.

You can change the network gateway ( IP route) just fine. No need to rehost the license.

Only if the MAC address has been changed.

Is it virtualized or bare metal? On bare metal the license is linked against the MAC address. In virtual it can change.

It is a virtual server hosted by the customer in their stack. From what I have read it seems that changing the IP or the host name will need to re-host but wanted to make sure.
