??Gateway AV/IPS Question??

I am thinking about trying out the AV/IPS with our x700. My question is...Is the virus definitions loaded on the firewall? Is there a client file that is loaded on the workstations? Do you need any additional anit-virus protection besides this one? Thank you so much for all your help....

This antivirus is a "mail gateway". It is designed to scan incoming traffic for viruses. You will still want to have antivirus on your computers and servers.

Essentially this does a lot more than just checking the email. You try downloading a piece of spyware with this upgrade installed. Especially if you use it inconjunction with the web blocker. My self and a colleague were clicking on every popup and still the p.c was clean as a whistle
