gate access question (delayed ringing)

Hi,

Have a MICS ver. 7.0 and callpilot 3.1. Want to set up electronic gate (that used a dn with a ata) to first dial an internal extension ( caretaker's extension and ring maybe 4 times, then dial out automatically to the caretaker's cell phone for complete coverage. Any ideas?

Set up the caretaker DN as the called #. Set up the caretaker, to CFNA to cell#. No problem, but will not be able to open the gate, remotely.

Thanks! How do I set up a cfna after X rings to an external number? Do I build a route? Also once the call gets to the cell phone the caretaker should be able to open gate I believe...

One other thing. I want to set up a phantom dn (unwired port)that will be called by the gate and appear as answer dn on multiple sets in the barn area. will ring x times on all sets then forward to caretaker's cell phone. Do I set up cfna on the phantom dn?

Are you using the door openiner controller to open the gate.How does the gate get opened?

Yes, you build a route with a Dest. Code. Make sure the DN has Allow Redirect. The DN that has the Answer DN of the Gate is the DN that would CFNA to external cell. Don't know if the DOC will recognize the DTMF for "6" on an externaly transferred call?

Wow.Thanks! I forgot about the allow redirect setting. That's why it doesn't let me program that.

I'm using a Gate King keypad that uses a dn in conjunction with an ata.

The only other problem I have is that if I call a nortel set from the gate, to open the gate I have to do a F808 so the tones are long enough to be recognized. Is there any way to set the default tone duration of the KSU ?
