Garbled Screens DR5?

all of the sudden certain sets on a dr4 started displaying grabage "&^%$#%&". some sets have a line missing in the display. In one recently new set the display has stopped working all together. Changing ports or powering down does not correct the problem. Distributors solution was to upgrade to dr5. no correction. any help would be appreciated.

The LCD on the sets are most likely bad - it is not the software. I have had this happen on a lot on the older phones. I usually get the display screens replaced - it costs less than getting a new phone all together.

my only concern is why did this happen all at once. one 7310 is new and all of the sudden the screen is completly out. dont want to send all the phones out to be refurbed if something in the switch is causing the sets to go bad. any thoughts on the power supply causing damage to the sets?
