hello,
I have been seeing garbage appearing in my SK98 calendar for a few days.
It seems to relate to far-away geographical locations (I can make out bits of Marshall Islands (appears as "rshall Islands") and Martinique ("rtinique"). Other entries are less guessable ("lta" and "ves" and a Greek letter).
These entries appear with alarms and appended note files (paperclip).
This morning I checked more carefully and find that it happens when I look at the following day then switch back to the current day -- which is why I probably notice this most often when I'm shutting down my computer for the night.
Any clues? It's almost as if the world map got garburator'd and spat all over my calendar.
If I close Sidekick and open it again, the flying bits are gone ... until I go to the next day and back to the current day.
Most annoying! and I am not sure whether I'm also losing valid entries when this garburator'd ones fly in.
Sidekick is so remarkably stable and reliable, I almost can't believe that I've got a problem. It's been trouble-free since 1995 or before.
(by the way, I notice that there's a forum with a somewhat similar but not-identical issue but it's locked)
thanks for any help,
midocean
