gantt - how to remove only the org. planning bar 1

Sorry but I don't have the proper term for the little bar that I wish to remove (I'm using MSProject2000 French version).

When you add a task, the program asks you if you wish to update the baseline plan (I am assuming that this is the correct term). I accidentally said yes. I wish to remove that little dark gray bar under this new task to indicate that it is actually a new task. This is the view you get when the third button is recessed in the left menu area.

Anyone got any ideas?

I believe you are viewing the Tracking Gantt display. (On my system, the third button view is the standard Gantt chart.)

Display the columns Baseline Start and Baseline Finish. Clear out those two fields for the affected task.

Merci, c'est gentil mais je suis plus a l'aise en anglais (en tout cas en informatique) comme je suis anglophone. Le problème c'est de traduire les fonctionnements logiciels français en anglais pour que ça soit compréhensible. Ce n'est pas toujours evident.
