Ganglia - monitoring ??

Hello guys,

I am trying to install and configure Ganglia as described on a very nice article made by the nmon guy! see link below:

My problem is installing the rpm on the server (which I use the nim server that have already apache but apparently they need apache2)
There is a lot of dependencies..
my problem is part install/setup of ganglia web "front end":
for this we need to install the rpm ganglia-web-3.1.1-1.noarch.rpm

but when I do it:
# rpm -Uvh ganglia-web-3.1.1-1.noarch.rpm
error: failed dependencies:


And I can;t find anywhere this php-gd thing ...

here what I already have on my nim server as I use it as web server for nmon reporting:

But if someone has done it before and know the exact steps (rpm 1 then rpm 2 etc...) will be good.

If not can someone tell me where I can find this php-gd thing that is missing I can';t find it...

I have install the tar file which apparently contains apache2 and php (httpd-2.2.2-1.a ix51.tar.bz2).

I have updated the httpd.conf file but when started apache2 I get this error:
# /opt/freeware/apache2/bin/apachectl start
httpd: Syntax error on line 470 of /opt/freeware/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 2 of /opt/freeware/apache2/conf/extra/httpd-php.conf: Cannot load /opt/freeware/apache2/modules/libphp5.so into server: \t0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/freeware/apache2/modules/libphp5.so.\n\t0509- 150 Dependent module libXpm.a(shr.o) could not be loaded.\n\t0509-022 Cannot load module libXpm.a(shr.o).\n\t0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.\n\t0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/freeware/apache2/modules/libphp5.so.\n\t0509- 150 Dependent module /opt/freeware/apache2/modules/libphp5.so could not be loaded.

Ok I thought I have already install xpm package but realised not (after double checking again the pre-requisite!!!!!

All good Ganglia is well working now!!

I am trying to install ganglia on my AIX server, I just installed the following:

1) ganglia-gmond-3.0.7-1.aix5.3.ppc.rpm
2) libart_lgpl-2.3.26

Could not install 1)rrdtool-1.2.13-1.perl58.aix5.2.ppc.rpm(couldn't find for AIX 5.3). Errored out as follow:
# rpm -Uvh rrdtool-1.2.13-1.perl58.aix5.2.ppc.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
libart_lgpl is needed by rrdtool-1.2.13-1
freetype2 is needed by rrdtool-1.2.13-1
libpng is needed by rrdtool-1.2.13-1
zlib is needed by rrdtool-1.2.13-1
2)# rpm -Uvh ganglia-gmetad-3.0.7-1.aix5.3.ppc.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
rrdtool is needed by ganglia-gmetad-3.0.7-1
librrd_th.a(librrd_th.so.2) is needed by ganglia-gmetad-3.0.7-1
3) Can I install gmond and gmetad on the same AIX server running AIX 5.3?
