Gandalf 5250L router not routing

I have a 5250L with a PC connected to each port. From each PC,I can ping the PC, and the router port it is connected to, but not ping across the router. I am using 172.68.50.x and 172.68.50.x as my network addresses. .1 for the router, and .2 for the PC.
Any suggestions?
