games and win2k

I just installed win2k on a ntfs partition, any gamers here could tell me if it would be a good idea to have a fat partition just to run my games? would it be much faster or would it be almost the same thing?

my pc is a tbird1.1 w/256 megs RAMS and my video card is a GeForce 2...

I run Win2K on my gaming system With complete NTFS and so far only a few problems. Most games run fine. Some older games wont run (for win95). If you use the amakecampat.exe on the CDROM (Windows2K) a few other games will run as well. I am guessing that with the GForce2 that you wont be running older windows games. If not Most of todays games run fine. This is just my experiance so far. I run a lot of differant games.
