Anyone know when this release will be available or is it already?

They are saying next Monday for existing Maintenance Advantage Customers. V7 / SP1 has been out for a couple of weeks now.

Yep, next week apparantely...no need to upgrade quickly though if you don't require any of the new support (ie. CDR cluster support etc).

New customers have been having 7.0 installed for a couple of months now.

Dell cstomers will have to wait a little longer.

Have you looked into the new CI?...if not then be prepared for quite a shock if you have a big environment ;-)

Totally different to the last version of CI...very good though

Does anyone have any experience with the changes related to .Net 2.0 and C++ redistributable package?

It seems these are required for all desktops using the 7.0 Outlook plugins for Data Archiver and on the backend for the backup servers. At this point we are also checking if it is also needed for the servers running the idata agents, which would be a very big deal.

Seems hard to believe .Net upgrades and maintaining C++ updates are a requirement though. We are looking into this now, as part of the ugprade.
